Hand Gestures Game – Students will identify various hand gestures as positive or negative
Emotions Cards – Students will examine a photograph and read a short story to determine if it elicits a positive or negative reaction and will adhere a clothespin to either a frowning face or a smiley face
Emoji Four-in-a-row Game – Students will play in a small group and identify through picture and words various characteristics. Students will use tokens to match those characteristics on their game board
Pipe Cleaner Expressions – Students will use provided pipe cleaners to create eye-brows, mouth and eye shapes, that are fundamental in six key emotions, and that identify via picture cues things that would elicit that emotional response
Emotional Identification– Students will use various face cards to match a story description. Students will also adhere with Velcro the facial characteristics that match the story
